Achieving Results in Communities

Two exciting new projects in Lillington!

ARC supports people to access and engage with the outdoors for their mental and physical health and wellbeing.

Two exciting new projects in Lillington starting soon!

We are thrilled to be offering two new community projects commissioned by different parts of Warwick District Council.

The Community Wellbeing team are engaging ARC to deliver Lillington Wellbeing in Nature Sessions for the community of East Lillington, starting on November 6th. Weekly sessions will take place on Wednesdays 10am til 12noon in the green area behind Eden Court and Southorn Court on The Crest, CV32 7PU. We will start by finding out what local residents would like to see in this green space. We will be planting some spring bulbs and litter picking in the hedges. Future activities can be decided by the participants. If you want to share your ideas, please complete our survey here or see us at the Lillington Community Gathering (details below).

The Green Spaces team are engaging ARC to plant Lillington Community Orchard. We are awaiting final sign off from Warwick District Council on this project. We will be planting 25 fruit trees on the area of land in the photo below which is directly east of Lillington Primary School. Whilst we await final permissions, we will be attending the Lillington Community Gathering at Lillington Social Club, Lime Avenue on 9th November 1.30pm-5pm. This event will be bringing together a range of arts, social and environmental groups working in Lillington. We will be happy to share our orchard plans and discuss your ideas if you find us there, or email us at info@arccic.co.uk.
