Our weekly sessions aim to help you deepen your connection with the natural world whilst being active and socialising with new people
We run two weekly groups* which focus on improving mental and physical wellbeing. During each session, we spend time engaging in woodland or garden-based activities and crafts.

“The sessions have changed my life so much for the better. I was becoming more isolated and depressed and expected little to change for the better. The sessions have enabled me to take a much healthier path.”
Please also see our COMMUNITY GARDENING page for more sessions for adult wellbeing.
*Our adult wellbeing groups grew out of the vision of Tree Johnston who, inspired by her own recovery journey, developed a wellbeing group in the newly transformed Foundry Wood in 2015 to be a safe space for peer support and nature connection. We are so grateful for Tree’s vision and nurturance of this group over a decade to become the thriving community it is today. Please watch the videos below to hear some voices share why these groups are so special.
