ARC will be delivering regular family weekend activities through the summer.
Spend quality, meaningful time in nature through the warmer months with the following family-friendly activities.
Children’s Forest Community Nature Connection Sessions
These will involve nature walks, tending the young trees in our Children’s Forest, gathering and planting tree seeds for our tree nursery, plus other nature activities and games. Families as well as adults without children are welcome.
Saturdays 2pm til 4pm: 13th April, 11th May, 15th June, 13th July, 10th August, 14th September and 12th October
The site is next to Canalside Community Food, Radford Semele, Leamington Spa. Please always let us know if you are coming so that we can let you know where to park and wait for you before setting off. Sessions are free thanks to funding from the National Lottery. Foundry Wood Pizza Making Sessions
Make your own pizza in a beautiful woodland setting and watch it cook in our fabulous wood-fired oven. All ingredients for a vegetarian pizza provided. £5 per pizza. No need to book. Just come along any time between 12noon and 2pm.
Sundays 12 til 2pm: 28th April, 26th May, 30th June, 28th July, 25th August, 29th September, 26th October
This activity takes place at Foundry Wood Community Woodland, Princes Drive, Leamington Spa. Park at Victoria Park car park, cross Park Drive using the pedestrian crossing, and continue up Princes Drive and through the big green gate.
