Lyttelton Community Garden
The garden is located off Lyttelton Road and offers the community a reclaimed green space. The area has been transformed, with the support of Warwick District Council, from a derelict unused plot of scrubland into a wildlife and community garden. ARC have been supporting groups of local people to care for the space since March 2025.
The overall aim has been to create an open green space for local people to meet and relax and enjoy nature, improve the biodiversity of the the site by creating a wildlife-friendly habitat and to encourage local Warwick residents, particularly those in the Packmores area to join one of the two ARC groups that take place at the garden on a weekly and monthly basis:
Community Gardening: 10am-12pm every Friday.
We meet at the Packmores Community Centre just before 10a.m.
These sessions offer opportunities to help with gardening, wildlife habitat creation and opportunities to meet other local people.
Saturday Packmores Gang: 10am -12pm first Saturday of the month
A Saturday garden session offers families a relaxed, hands-on chance to grow plants together, explore nature, support local wildlife, and enjoy creative outdoor activities while building confidence, skills, and community connections.
We’d love to you join us!
All sessions will offer refreshments and all materials will be provided. There will be lots of opportunities to harvest produce you grow, make and grow things to take away and share a chat and a cuppa.
