ARC seeking Director with mental health background
ARC – Achieving Results in Communities – is seeking to appoint an additional Director to our Board. ARC is a community interest company (CIC) operating in Warwick District for 10 years facilitating the creation of green spaces and supporting people to access green spaces to benefit mental and physical health and wellbeing.
ARC is seeking a director with understanding of and experience in the mental health sector (NHS and / or charity) to guide and advise our work facilitating adult outdoor mental health and wellbeing sessions, and our youth mentoring in nature with school children. In particular we are looking for an applicant with:
- understanding of the local mental health sector to aid new alliances and partnership working
- experience of working with vulnerable adults to guide us in improving our services and ongoing safeguarding
- experience of working with children and young people would be desirable though not essential.
