Achieving Results in Communities

Transform @ Tallis Wood

ARC supports people to access and engage with the outdoors for their mental and physical health and wellbeing.

Transform @ Tallis Wood

ARC has received funding to pilot a new approach to supporting people struggling with mental or physical health, or in addiction recovery.
We will be running 8 week courses at Tallis Wood, just 2 miles from Leamington, to help participants to set and achieve goals and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.

Participation will lead to: increased self-confidence; improved motivation and ability to work towards life goals; and improved levels of connection with self, others and the natural world.
Sessions will run from 10am til 3pm and will involve: woodland maintenance and craft activities; group sharing and mutual support; mindfulness and nature connection.
Transport, food and refreshments will be provided.
Participation is free, but commitment is required to attend for the full course of 8 weeks as far as possible.

We are taking referrals for participants to start the second course in mid April. Please contact Kath Pasteur on kath@arccic.co.uk/ 07814 605 245 to find out more. Referrals may come through relevant mental health or addiction recovery agencies, and self referrals will also be accepted.
