Music For Wellbeing Launch!

ARC supports people to access and engage with the outdoors for their mental and physical health and wellbeing.

MUSIC FOR WELLBEING AT TALLIS WOOD

We are thrilled to launch our new Music for Wellbeing sessions led by ARC facilitators and musicians Eleanor Brown and Agnes Ashbell.

Join us for seasonal sessions every 6 weeks based around the Celtic Wheel where you will be led in community singing and nature connection. Enjoy folk, protest, pop, nostalgic and soul songs from the heart! Expect a warm welcome and laughter around the fire.

This is an alcohol and drug free space where raising our voices together is the only medicine we need and much needed in these times!

You are welcome if you enjoy singing no matter how you judge your voice or how it has been judged. You are welcome if you want to just sit, listen and enjoy the atmosphere.

Our first session will be Wednesday 21st October 5-7pm to mark Samhain and the next Wednesday 16th Dec to mark Winter Solstice.

These will be paid sessions based on a sliding scale between £15 – 25 per session* booking through eventbrite only.

Everyone is welcome. We would love you to join us and help make this new venture a success. Please spread the word to anyone you know who would be interested and contact eleanor@arccic.co.uk for further info.

*A note on the cost – ARC have relied on funding for the past 15 years to offer all our sessions and courses for free but we are diversifying to offer new opportunities even when funding is unavailable. The ticket price covers planning and delivery time of two facilitators/musicians, hire of the woodland, printing of booklets, purchase of firewood and refreshments. We plan to trial a few sessions to see if the income from tickets is sufficient for them to continue.
