As we welcome the Spring we also celebrate ARC’s 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! 

In this month’s newsletter we take a moment to look back at the last 15 years of strengthening community wellbeing and restoration of natural habitats, celebrating the work we do now and looking forward to the future. 

Founded in March 2011, ARC (Achieving Results in Communities) began with a simple but ambitious vision to transform an unused piece of land on Princes Drive into a thriving community woodland that is Foundry Wood. With approval and seed funding secured in 2012, volunteers and community partners rolled up their sleeves and got to work.

Today, Foundry Wood stands as a flourishing green sanctuary for wildlife and people alike. ARC co-manages the woodland alongside the Friends of Foundry Wood, and the space has become a much-loved community asset since opening in 2013… click here to continue reading our celebration newsletter…
