Woodland Wellbeing at Tallis Wood
Connect with nature, grow in confidence and build up your self-esteem

Woodland Wellbeing at Tallis Wood offers a course of 7 weekly sessions (10am til 2.45pm) held at a beautiful woodland just outside Radford Semele.

The course is aimed at people wanting to improve their mental and physical wellbeing through spending time in nature and personal reflection. It is particularly aimed at those struggling with mental health, feeling lonely/socially isolated or already on an addiction recovery journey.

You will spend time sharing together around a fire, learning from each other, learning about new ways to look at the world and your experiences and those of others as well as connecting with nature around you.

This course shares useful psychological models, personal development tools and deep nature connection practices. We aim to create a culture where participants can challenge the belief that there is ‘something wrong with them’ and instead, through authenticity and vulnerability, carve out a different kind of space where collective learning, growth and healing can take place.

There are opportunities for short walks and woodland tending. We provide a hot vegetarian lunch each session along with hot drinks.

To experience all the benefits these sessions offer, we ask that you commit to completing the entire 7-week course. You are welcome to come to the first session as a taster with no obligation to continue. The course is run on a Wednesday one day a week over 7 weeks.

The course location is near Radford Semele and we can provide a free taxi pick up and drop off from Leamington Station if you don’t have your own transport.
